Elegantsis' JSK Rhodium Omega is a large 47mm Swiss automatic limited edition mechanical watch that is a stunning collaboration between Elegantsis, an up-and-coming watch microbrand, and , a well-know custom motorcycle builder based in California. The color scheme of this watch, along with many design elements are based on the design of JSK's Rhodium Omega bike. Despite it's dressy look, this is every inch an active lifestyle watch with a 100 meter / 330 feet water rating, an additional rubber strap for swimming and diving, and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass.

Why We Love This Watch

The very first thing everyone notices is the very unique dial design, which showcases the metal brake rotors found on motorcycle wheels including the venting hole typically cut into them. Apart from being something unique to the JSK range, on the Rhodium Omega it's a lovely bold red and black design that is nothing short of breathtaking, but without being ostentatious or over the top. In short you get a beautiful strong red that's different to other reds you typically find, making this not only a nice addition to a collection, but something that can fit well if you like to match your watches with your wardrobe.

Elegantsis have really gone to town on the straps and in addition to the rubber activity strap provided, the watch comes with a custom red and white two part calfskin strap that's unique to this watch, crafted by Elegantsis' in-house strap maker. The back of the watch features an exhibition cover with JSK's red, black and white coy carp signature logo underneath, which matches the overall color scheme of the watch perfectly.

Look a little deeper, such as the crown design, and you'll start to spot other biking references too. What's coolest of all though is that this watch has the exact same design DNA as the JSK Rhodium Omega bike. Having a quality Swiss movement in a watch built for an active lifestyle doesn't hurt too. This timepiece is an elegant conversation piece that can also be a robust everyday wear.

Limited Edition

The JSK Rhodium Omega is a limited edition of only 500 timepieces which was first featured with a successful campaign on Kickstarter late in 2017. When we initially arranged to stock the Rhodium Omega, Elegantsis only had 24 pieces from the original 500 remaining. As a result, we're not sure if we'll be able to restock this model once it sells out, but will endeavor to do so.

We also offer an that is unique to The Microbrand Store. This includes the same Rhodium Omega watch and two straps you see here, plus a third custom hand-made full grain red rally strap with black ostrich leg holes uniquely made by our strap-maker for the Rhodium Omega, to match the red and black brake rotors on the watch face.
